Volunteers are our back-bone!
Without the large team of dedicated volunteers, the Buderim Library would not be able to offer the number of services currently available to the community. These dedicated people spend countless hours purchasing, cataloging, labeling and covering new books before they are ready to be loaned. Expert volunteers also maintain and repair many library books.
On the other hand, there are those who do administration, serving on the counter, applying for grants, fund raising, our hard working Librarian and Committee members.
If you have a few hours to spare each week, have a love of books and would like to volunteer, then next time you’re in the Library, please fill out a Volunteer Form, we would be delighted to having you in the team.
Book Repairs
We have repaired many books for clients – some printed in the late 1800s and not in very good condition.
